Welcome to Bruce & Terry's Hiking in the Northwest. This is a collection of hikes that we enjoy and hope that you do also. We welcome other hiking stories and pictures. Terry Love, the site designer can be reached at terrylove@comcast.net The above picture is taken at Ingraham flats, a base camp for summitting Mt. Rainier. From there, we get up at midnight to rope up. We reach the summit at daybreak, and by five the next afternoon, we are back in the parking lot, ready for dinner. The rock ridge at the right, is "The Cleaver". You can see video of the climb here. |
